Snow White

Good Morning , things seem be be quite calm here at the moment
and the children don't start back to school till next Tuesday  so no
school runs  . Not much crafting happening either but I did sort my
desk and copics out ( they're all in the colour families now) and much
easy to find the colour I want, I also downloaded a copic colour wheel
and finally the penny has dropped on what colour blends with another,
better late than never lol.
On to my card I was in a bit of a distressing mood for this one
and think I may have got a bit carried away with the sanding block
as I was tearing the paper ,oops .

For this card I used another Saturated canary image - Snow White, and
I now think she is my favourite ( till the next image I get lol). I think she
has a beautiful face and I just love her hair style .
The papers are Nitwits - crab apple and they were a bit brighter when
I first printed them off but then I distressed them with Antique Linen distress
ink . The image was coloured with copics and prismacolor pencils.

Crafty Boots Challenge - No boys allowed

Good morning ,welcome to another fortnights challenge at Crafty Boots.
This fortnight challenge was chosen by the lovely Emma T.
I was out of my comfort zone again with this card ( I really don't
like doing boys cards ).
The image I used for this card is Edwin with Airplane, he is my
first Edwin and even tho he was a delight to colour , I was just
stumped when I had to put the card together . It feels as if it's
missing something.( FLOWERS lol)

I put the 21 on as my friend asked me to make her a card with this image.
The papers are my minds eye , I used some buttons and twine ,and
faux stitched the edges of the paper.
The image is coloured using promarkers and Flex markers
Please pop over to the fab DT ladies blogs to see what fabulous creation they've
come up with for this theme.
Thanks for popping by and looking

Whispy

Good afternoon , I have had quite a productive few days at last,
I have manage to do the shopping, a mountain of ironing , some general
house work ,some DT work and even another card to blog, I think I'm
on a roll. Surprising what I can to when I'm not up the school doing PTA
stuff all the time.
I have chosen another Saturated Canary image for this card and she's
called Whispy , as much as I love her she not top of my favourites,(I think
it the wings thing again) . Again this image was a delight to colour.

                                                    Close up of Whispy

I remembered to make a list of thing I used for this card and will list them at the end
of this post. My poor sewing machine doesn't know what has hit it as it has been
stuffed in  a cupboard for years but now it's finally getting used at last.
I also downloaded my first Nitwits paper this week too , I've had my eye on Nitwit
papers for years but I always been scared to download them, I'm so glad I did and
I will be going back for more .
Right time for me to go and clean up the children's tea dishes and hopefully
I'll have time to do some more crafting.
Thanks for looking

At last something to post

Good evening and I hope you've had a lovely Easter. At last I have
a card to post ,and I've tried something new . On Wednesday I finally
gave in to temptation and purchased my first Saturated Canary image
and by Thursday I had to go back and get more lol. I am totally addicted
to these adorable images by Krista Smith and what a delight they are to colour.
Anyway enough of my waffling and on to my card , I have used Honey I think she's
my favourite ( but it's so hard to choose)

                                                            Close up of Honey

I finally opened the crate papers I have had since I started crafting
a few years ago. These papers have always been kept for special and I think
Honey was special enough to open this paper pack lol.
To colour her I used copics but I tried several RV shades but couldn't
quite get the colour of her skirt to my liking so out came the flex markers
and then the promarkers ,and eventually after a few coats of different pens and
colours I finally was happy with the colour.  The hearts are spellbinders, the rose
is also a spellbinders die (Rose creations), I think this might be my new favourite
die (for the moment anyway).Even the sewing machine came out for this card.
Hopefully I will be back soon with more of these images.
Thanks for looking and taking the time to stop by my blog
